This strange sensation running through your soul If the racing heart beats are what is real
And trying to find sense is your only goal.
Swept up in the feeling of constant thought Meditate and dwell, feel your heart would burst The lump in your throat and your voice is caught You want to scream but the last pain was worst. With the love lost and broken in the past Hold yourself together, all you can do
Forget the pain, bury, leave it to last To make this time different, make a heart new.

ShadedThe world was seen in black and white through lonely, heartbroken eyes portals to the soul behind which no feathered touch had found.Shaded
Forgotten was the rush of warmth to melt this frozen heart hopeless, careless, the dragging on of feet through bleak existence.
Neglect and shame had built the walls to hide this lonely soul protection from the bitterness that stung the first attempt at love.
The wanting almost dying now the pain becomes too much while lovers see the world in hues this life was seen in shade.
